Kanzler Vineyards 2007 Sonoma Coast, Reserve, Pinot Noir

Kanzler Vineyards 2007 Sonoma Coast, Reserve, Pinot NoirA  blend of 667 and Pommard clones from the wonderful 2007 vintage, this wine has all the characteristics of the 2007 Sonoma Coast with a touch of the exotic provided by the new Remond Troncais barrels in which it was aged. Rich dark fruit and sweet oak create an intensely aromatic nose of rose petals, spice and freshly picked wild mushrooms. Intense fruit flavors, grippy but soft tannins and nice acidity combine to produce a long, soft and supple finish.  Deep red to purple in color, this is a truly special wine.
